What is Boudoir Photography?

Boudoir photography is a session designed to highlight and embrace the intimate and sensual beauty of one’s body.

Boudoir Photography Style

There are many different styles of boudoir photography. Just like with portraits our goal is to create emotional images that show your personality and make moments timeless.

Session Types

Boudoir sessions can mark a special occasion such as wedding, anniversary, birthday, pregnancy, or simply to feel special in your own skin.

What to wear

Choose 3-5 looks for your session and keep in mind that we may not have time to shoot every look. If you still don't know what to wear, bring all the clothing, accessories, and props you like and we'll help you decide at the studio!

-Lingerie or corsets in your favorite color
-Bridal Items (veil, garter, shoes)
-Button-down shirts (especially if you have one of his) - One of his ties
-Oversized sweaters
-High-heels or boots
-A leather or denim jacket
-Push-up bra
-A favorite sports jersey
-Your favorite pair of jeans
-Garter belts, stockings

If you would like some guidance while shopping, email or message us pictures of top contenders and we’ll give you our input.

Otherwise you can bring everything and we'll decide at your session!

Preparation

We work closely with Kaylahn Hissong of Dapper and Blush to pamper you prior to your session. Kaylahn is an incredibly talented Hair and Make Up Artist that specializes in preparing you for the camera.

Other things to prepare:

-Manicure and Pedicure

-Wear loose clothing prior to your session to prevent anything from leaving a mark on your skin

Location Guide

Our goal is to find a location that suits your personality and overall theme of your session. Ideal locations are simple and free from distracting elements. You may choose to use your bedroom, or one of the suggestions below:
